I bought a Dell 17 inch Notebook and it fit into this bag perfectly. The second compartment of this well made bag is very useful and contains three velcro pockets to store accessories--plus much more room for other things. The back of the bag has a compartment to store folders or papers for easy access. This is a good, solid bag and I am very pleased with the construction.

I had a hard time finding a bag of this size in my local retail stores. The few I could find were way over priced. Thankfully, this site made it easy and fun to find my desired product. I have a Dell Studio 17 inch that I also use with a cooling pad and portable USB mouse. This bag holds everything I need without effort.Which I have to admit creates one heavy bag! But the sturdy handle and shoulder strap help ease some of the burden. This is a large bag for a large laptop! The inner velcro strap keeps my laptop secure along with the inner adjustable velcro divider. I am very pleased with this bag and all the space it has to offer. I highly recommend this product!

I'm very disappointed in the laptop bag I bought from a company named SpaceBound, Inc. There were three major problems with the bag.

1) The bottom of the bag was damaged in an irreparable way. It seemed as if something very heavy had been sitting on the bag for long enough to misshape the form of the corner.
2) The advertised shoulder strap was not included in the bag. Believe me, I looked in every nook and cranny and it wasn't there.
3) The padded laptop divider was not included in the bag either! As before I looked everywhere.

Overall, I'm disappointed in the product's condition. Amazon's service has been excellent so far and I'm in the process of having the bag RMA'ed and receiving a refund.

I love the bag. I have a 15.6" (Acer Aspire 5253-BZ602) laptop, so the case is big, but the foam divider helps keep the laptop secure, and in place. With the divider, it also lets me put the charger beside the laptop.

The compartments on the outside and the mesh/net compartment on the inside have plenty of rooms to put flash drives, a portable HDD, mouse, mouse pad, etc. You could also fit your charger in there as well, but I just chose to utilize the extra space. It's very durable, but of course, not as much as the high-end Targus cases, but you usually don't get that type of quality until you spend upwards of $70 or $80.

I believe this case is now $43, but when I bought it about a month or so ago, I got it for around $19. For that price, it's surely a deal. At $43 I'm sure it has more competitors, but at a ~$20 price point, it wins, hands down.

Case looks like it is durable and well made. I haven't used it yet but it looks like it will last a long time.

Recommended for design, quality, and price. Padded and sturdy case (17L"x13W"x2.5H" inside). Zippers padlock together. Shoulder-strap and handle are comfortable. Strong straps with velcro secure the laptop inside. Padded side-divider creates the adjustable (3"-4" wide) space, perfect for charger and cables. Two big mesh pockets (7"x11") are inside the cover. Cover carries wedge-shaped compartment (11W"x14.5L") on the outside. It has side-flaps, and opens to a "V" with 7" gap on top. It has one full-size sleeve for letter-size folder on the outside. It has three pockets on the inside for cell phone, wallet, and 1TB WD "book" USB drive. Pockets are closed by flaps with velcro. Take this case anywhere with confidence - there is nothing cheap about it, only the conveyance of cultured frugality. Targus may have initially overpriced it for brand name, but not any more.

I purchased this case a few weeks ago for my 15.4" HP. Oops. The case is definitely too big for this size laptop. I do have some extra space should I ever need to carry my docking station as well. That extra space is 2+ inches to the side of the laptop. However, I still have two inches of space to the top end as well. There is a strap that you may use to hold your comp in place, fastens with velcro and works very well. This case would work great for a 17" laptop. The quality of the case is very good. It seems to be very well made. I like the red accent. I do agree with other ratings, the outer compartment for folders/papers does not hold much, but keep in mind, this is a laptop case not a brief case. I only gave this case 4 stars because I think it would be better designed with fewer inside 'pockets' and made to be a little lighter weight.

The case is perfect for my 17 Toshiba. Delivery of the bag was faster than expected. I am glad, I didn't spend the extra dollars for the leather bag.

Company had this to my door within days. Excellent quality, fantastic price, way better than what you see in the stores for that price.

I purchased this notebook case. It looks great and is the right size to holds my 17" notebook computer. However this case dose not have sufficient space for folders or papers. The only space available for folders and papers is the small slot on the back of the case. The space inside the case is sown in a way that does not allow you put them in the cavity with the computer. The picture implies that the inner cavity is provided for folders and papers. This is incorrect.
