I bought a second battery for my little Nikon camera because

a) I am sure of all the components to give trouble, the battery would be the first to go.

b) The convenience of not having to walk around with the battery charger if I go away for a weekend.
My 4GB flash card can hold about 800 photos at 10 megapixel quality. That's alot of shots for one battery, if you have to use the flash, etc.

I've had the battery for about 2-3 years now. Maybe because I rotate the two batteries in and out of the camera they are still working well, and keeping their charge.

Do not forget that this is an OEM product, so the qaulity is superb.

I have no complaints about it.

This battery is great. It has better specs than the original Nikon battery I had, so it lasts longer. For the price, you can't beat it.
