This case provides a lot of protection for my laptop. I'm not afraid of it being damaged if I drop the case. The shoulder strap is great and the handle is a nice addition. There are pockets and zippers everywhere. The case is also quite light. There is no abundance of extra room. So if you want to put a lot of books in this bag with your laptop it won't work very well, but if you're like me and don't want to lug a lot of books around anyways, it's perfect. I can fit three small books plus a notebook, but probably only two textbooks. Another plus is that it looks great!

I got this when I bought my Dell 600m. It fits really well with extra space for other things. I am in college so I don't really need to carry my books much, but the extra space in the big pocket is wonderful for putting notebooks or other miscellaneous items. And, it's light-weight, which is good since a lot of people pay a lot of extra money to get the smaller, lighter laptops these days. I took mine with me to England and it was nice to have as a carry-on because you can just put your cd player and book of cds right in the small pockets and a book to read in the bigger one...I highly recommend this for people with smaller computers!

I have had this exact bag for over 4 years and have never had an issue. I've taken it on planes and it's gone to college with me. A previous poster said that there isn't a ton of room if you put your laptop in there and they are right. If I don't take the laptop then I have plenty of room for my college books, folder, and accessories. Cell phone holder seems a bit out of date now so that could use an update. But overall I haven't had any tearing or fraying at all. Great bag and recommend!
