The 2700mAh rating is good but with this kind of NiMH battery it's only meaningful if you use then right out of the charger and almost continuously until they need to be charged again.

Right now, for a couple bucks more, you can get Duracell Value Charger With 4AA Pre Charged Rechargeable Nimh Batteries, CEF14DX4N, a slightly better charger with newer technology batteries that are designed to hold their charge for longer.

BTW, I feel that honest, effective reviews can take the place of first-hand experiences that are lacking in online shopping. I've always appreciated the help I've received from other reviewers and work hard to return the favor as best as I can. I hope you found this review helpful and if there was anything you thought was lacking or unclear leave a comment and I'll do what I can to fix it.

I am so glad that I purchased this. Wish now I had gotten two. I have grandkids, and a Wii, when we all play it sure makes it nice that I can just recharge batteries and not out the expense of new ones every time.

I run through AA batteries pretty quickly between wireless Wii remotes, remote controls, keyboards and mice. I already own a battery charger, but this one was priced so well that I thought another one would be convenient to have.

Let me just say that I'm THRILLED with this charger. It is quiet... and I say this because my other charger (by another brand) makes an annoyingly loud fan noise until the batteries are charged. However, this Targus charger is silent.. which is very nice. It also simply plugs into the wall. By plugging directly into the wall, it makes it very neat by not having any cables out and about (my other charger has a cable that gets in the way).

It charged the batteries pretty quickly and they are still holding a charge after weeks worth of use. I don't know how many hours I've used my items since initially charging the batteries, but so far all is well.

This charger is definitely worth purchasing. Also, it comes with four batteries too. You can't beat it!

I bought this product on September 13. It is nice, working well with the lit that shows when it is fully charged. It is easy to bring with when travel. Besides, it can be charged with the AA and AAA. I like it. I will bring it with me for my trip to DC and NY next week. I will recommend it to my friends.

for my camera they arent very good, but for other products i guess they work pretty fine.

I purchased this charger for my nephew for his Wii remotes. Works great and has saved so much money over the past few months.

Outstanding product at a great price saving me lots of cash as I don't need to by AA batteries anymore!

Picked this up on a lightening deal for i believe around 5 to 10. Battery's hold a nice charge and charge quickly! Good value here for a standard charger.
