Can't beat the price, but if you are looking for something sturdy and solid, this is not it. The material is very lightweight, which can be good and bad. At full extension it is quite week, I would not recommend it for a D-SLR or heavy video camera. It works great for point and shoots and is very portable/compact. If you are looking for something small that gets the job done for a great price, then this is it. I am using it with a full featured point and shoot (sony H9) and it supports the weight fine.

This tripod is a true piece of junk, but it is useful. I give it two stars instead of lower only because it does not pretend to be anything other than what it is.
The material and construction are of extremely low quality. There are two spring-loaded parts. One was not working correctly when I opened the package. That didn't matter since it's a part I won't use, but the other would make the tripod almost unusable if it broke. I was looking for a low-priced tripod to set in a location in my home where it will never be moved and never bumped. This tripod is completely adequate for that purpose, but I would never travel with it and never use it for serious photographic work outside or around other people.

Can't complain. It's a simple tri-pod with expendable legs and a bubble level for a cheap price! Even with shipping and handling it was cheaper than I could find locally at Wal-Mart, Target, ect. Perfect for family use.

This is and excellent product however, my granddaughter has a flip camera and there is no way to attach so we had to use self-stick adhesive wrap to attach it. The review says all digital cameras but that is not necessarily so.

Bought this a couple of years back, mainly as a stand for my Flip Camcoder. The legs retract to an average persons height and you can keep it in a corner of the room to shoot say cake cutting for a birthday party. At least that was the intention when I bought it.Of course using it in the house where there is a little kid is pretty difficult as I find children are pretty much attracted to things like these. However it is light weight and stable enough, though I did not use it much. I would say for the product it does a solid job for the price and I am no professional , but just a casual user.
