5.0 out of 5 stars Fits my MacBookPro 15.4"
The dimensions for the INTERIOR of the bag are 14.2" deep x 11.6" wide x 2.2". My 15.4" MacBookPro fits inside nicely with lots of room to spare (even when in a sleeve). I purchased this bag because I wanted a cheap bag that I could throw my laptop into when I was in a rush out the door. It actually looks like a much more expensive bag. 3.0 out of 5 stars Bigger than I expected..
I originally purchase this because it looked professional and classy, but it was much bigger than I realize. There was a good amount of extra space after putting my 14.1" notebook in, I was hoping for more cushion. Don't get me wrong, the tote itself is sleek and looks beautiful, but just not what I was looking for and expected.

The quality of the handles and the thickness of the bag appear to be good support. There is a magnetic snap/ flap (1.5" wide) that goes over the laptop to secure it in the bag. The handles appear to be made of leather (they are actually synthetic) and the body of the bag is matte nylon. One nice feature is that the bag has 5 metal "feet" to protect the bottom of the bag from getting dirty. I like that it looks like a tote and not a typical computer bag. It will fit my laptop and several magazines (3-5) easily. I am a fairly picky person and this bag exceeded my expectations. I like it better than one that was 4 times the price (made by Mobil Edge). I returned the expensive one and kept this one instead. Hope this review was helpful.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's a great tote for a cheap price., July 22, 2006
This review is from: Targus TLT001 15.4 Ladies Essential Tote (Personal Computers)
The tote looks professional and classy. It has a thin compartment for your files, and pockets for your cellphone, cards and pens. After putting your laptop inside, there will still be enough space to put your personal belongings, such as your wallet, makeup-kit, a paper notebook, etc.

I only have two wishes:
1. That the top was zippered
2. That the bag had an additional padded divider to put my laptop in on one side and my personal stuff on the other.

Not having a neoprene case for your laptop would mean that it might get scratched if you put other things on your tote.

All in all it's a good tote for the ~$30 price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great all-around bag with one drawback, October 24, 2007

I love the fact that this bag has a sleek design, yet has room for my cords and materials to take notes. There are even pockets for smaller accessories. The straps are long enough to go over my shoulder - a big plus for traveling. The is only drawback is that it's not the best carry-on for air travel. I have taken it on one trip flying coach. This bag doesn't fit under the seat in front of me very well. Once I had this worked out, I had to make sure the opening was away from me to prevent things from slipping out during takeoff and landings. A zipper closer would do wonders! Still I think it's a great bag overall.

Used the Targus ladies essential notebook tote to hold my laptop while travelling around the world, it's excellent and durable, highly recommeneded and for a well priced here at amazon.

Has enough room to hold all the wires, papers, cellphone and other while looking very stylish and lovely.

Handles make it comfortable to carry on the shoulder or even carrying it in ones hand it looks great, if you are shorter and carry it this way it may touch the ground, this is a great buy!

Look: very sharp, nice looking bag. My wife said there are many people said her bag looks great
Functionality: with cell phone, pen holders etc.

This is a great lap top bag. It is lady like but efficient for carrying any laptop through mass transportation. Extremely happy with the product.

I really like this tote. I use it for my laptop and a few items.
It's well made and should stand up to wear and tear.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very practical Tote, April 8, 2008

I like my tote very much. Very good price quality ratio. Looks much more feminine than the cases.
It is not as useful as the carrying cases because the cases are far too big and thus you can use it as an overnight bag and at the same time use it for your laptop.
I prefer the tote because I feel more feminine.

I enjoy my bag, but it's hard to fasten because my laptop doesn't allow me to close the flap.
