I cut it into squares that fit individual pieces and it's large enough to cover the pieces adequately.

I already had some anti-tarnish cloth for some silver items, but needed more. I bought a yard, and it came right away. It can be cut or torn, although it unravels a bit when torn. I sealed small pieces of the cloth inside little plastic bags of silver jewelry, and wrapped larger items in the cloth. It seems to be working very well at keeping the tarnish away. Whoever invented it was brilliant!

After giving this cloth a good try, I am revising my opinion. The silver jewelry that I had in Zip-Tite bags with this cloth still tarnished, but the jewelry in bags with the brown silver cloth I had before stays shiny. This stuff isn't very effective, at all, over a period of time. I am removing this black stuff from the bags and adding snippets of the brown cloth that I still have left. I no longer recommend this black anti-tarnish silver cloth.

I'm working on turning an antique dental cabinet into a jewelry armoir and need/wanted to line all the many drawers with anti-tarnish material so I don't have to clean my silver jewelry each and every time I use it.
This was a great find - the seller was VERY fast in shipping the material to me, the material came in good condition and the quality is very good.
I would for sure recommend this product to anyone, and I would also recommend doing business with this seller at any time.
I couldn't be happier with the material I purchased for my project.

Have used this product before. Make small bags for silver jewelry we make. Have a family heirloom silver set we have kept in a bag made of this cloth for several years and it has kept tarnish free. Great product. Vendor shipped immediately.

I have been looking all over for a tarnish proof fabric for my sterling silver jewelry. I never realized how big a yard is especially when it is 58 inches wide. This is a tremendous piece of fabric.. It is very soft and thick, much like the highest quality of flannel you can purchase. I have many small tins with clear tops(The Container Store - sorry Amazon) that I store my silver earrings and pendants. I have lined each one of these with this fabric. I line the container so the fabric comes up to the top and a lttle over the jewelry so everything is touching the fabric. I drop it in a little like a cup cake wrapper. I also have a lucite piece with 3 drawers and lined each drawer. It is not only a tarnish protector but protects the jewelry from sliding around and prevents damage from scratching. You can protect any type of jewelry from sliding around, it doesn't have to be silver..You can even cut out one small piece and line the small plastc zip lock bags that alot of jewelry is shipped in when you order online. A few months will tell how tarnish proof this is but I have no reason to doubt it's effectiveness. No one else has complained. I am very happy with this and the price is much less than most other tarnish proof cloths on the market. I still have so much fabric left over.

I got a couple of yards of this cloth for a couple of projects I thought up- One was to put over the jewelry I have in drawers and one project was to make little bags to give out at Christmas. The cloth is really great. You can also use it for your silverware silver. It's nice and thicker than some fabrics I saw in the national chain fabric store.

The cloth I received was black, not the brown I had ordered, but it really didn't matter. The cloth was 36" (1 yard) long by 54" wide. I cut it in two and had enough to line two 18" by 33" drawers in my china cabinet, with some left over for making a little pouch for some smaller piece of silver. I was pleased with my purchase.

My wife was looking for a lining for her Jewery case, I check with Amazon and they had this Anti-tarnish silver cloth, so we order it, she lined all her Jewery cases and she is very happy with the results,I might add that they send a good amount you shouldn't run out of lining.

Thought I'd already review this item. My apologies. The service was nearly immediate and I was so pleased to get an ample amt of this product. I plan to make up some gifts with it, to preserve some items I'd sent my kids/grandkids. A good project for Fall evenings. ~Thx! ;)
