Compelling and strange, like an Onion Loaf,

Great, great release from one of my favorite Chicago bands. It took them ages to get it done, but the results are well worth it. Complex and sometimes confusing, this is an album that gets deeper with each listen.

This is a really outstanding album. There are traces of Elliott Smith, nods to Beck's Mutations, some Zappa, and lots and lots of strange, beautiful, unusual instrumentation and scary lyrics full of doom and choas. I'm telling you: if this album wasn't already out, I would seriously consider starting my own record label to release it!

Take Your Time With QWW,

Taro Sound is some f'd-up malt liquor, but it may take a few listens before you start to get the hang of it. I can honestly say there is no one else like Quasar Wut Wut - they're like Tom Waits on crystal meth, but even that isn't the half of it.
You owe it to yourself to listen to QWW - it's challenging, spooky and fun at the same time. After a few weeks of indoctrination, I now can't go a day without hearing 'March Of The Zug'.

I have listened to a "crapload" of music over the years, and this new Quasar CD has somehow managed to craft an album actually worthy of the price of its packaging. "Taro Sound" doesn't sound like anything KORN has ever done, and although EMINEM is also from the 313, the rapist...(i mean rappist).....(or pist rapist rappist if you really wanna get jiggy) hasn't ever sent the QWW a postcard!! oh well. Listen, burn, buy, rent, steal, lend, borrow, pimp this record.
