Slight volume, but advances the story a great deal.,

Sang-Son Pak, Tarot Cafè, vol. 6 (Tokyopop, 2007)
Unlike most of the volumes in the series, Volume 6 of Tarot Cafe gives us a single story, as some skullduggery sends Pamela straight to hell--literally. We finally get some of the backstory surrounding Pamela, Ash, and Alecto, and as it's revealed (not only to us, but to the characters themselves, who are as in the dark as the readers), it becomes quite obvious that this will not end well for everyone involved. This is another volume that ends with a twenty-page preview for Ark Angels, which is quite fun, but seems like filler given how short this volume is. ***

A compelling story to the very end!,

This manga drew me after the first few chapters and book 6 is no different--it's filled with breathtaking action, heart stopping cliffhangers, and unexpected twists and turns. It's hard to stop reading and separate myself from the charcters--Sang-Sun Park is an amazing author and artist. At every plot twist I'm hoping for that happy ending that I know will never happen. I'm just glad Neibros and Aaron are relatively happy...so far...

It's hard not to be mesmerized by the beautiful art, the intriguing plot, and the complicated relationship between the characters. Pamela is still learning about her past and trying to understand the work of fate. Meanwhile, Alecto delivers a surprise to Pamela which startles the woman. Pamela then has to make a difficult choice. Miss Park ends the manhwa at a heart-pounding cliffhanger that makes the readers yearn for the next installment. I recommend this book to all manga lovers and those who enjoys beautiful art.

Volume 6 of the Tarot Cafe series is just as beautiful and compelling as the rest of the volumes. The story focuses only on Pamela's story, finally revealing what is up with the "new" Ash. There is a surprise about one of the other chracters, and a revealing moment between Alecto and Pamela. Now I can't wait for vol 7!
