I bought this book about 5 years ago and I constantly use it! This book is great as a stepping stone from the Apprentice book. It goes into greater details of the cards, their associations with one another and more in depth readings. I think my favorite spread in the book is the karma spread. I cannot tell you how many times this spread has been dead on with my life as well as for other people I've done! In fact, I do it twice a year to "check" how I'm doing. My other fave part is the conjunctions when a 2/3/7/9 minor cards comes before/after a major. It gives greater clarity to the reading and a time limit (based on your energy at the time of course). My best example would be a reading I did for my best friend about a male classmate who was annoying. I told her w/in 2 days he's going to do something foolish and described the act based on the reading. Sure enough he did but within a few hours! Although I've had this book for so long, I'm still a little intimidated to the Rahdue's wheel - a spread that involves all 78 cards. All in all, I highly recommend it!

I read the review from Amazon.com and I have to say I agree 100% with it. Eileen Connolly's Handbook for the Journeyman has helped me, through so much. I like to think of it as a recipe book of tarot their alway's seems to be just the right recipe for my particular situation. ( I've have used all the spread's)!! Also, it has helped me understand and use the Verifaction card's in a much more productive manner. The Connolly conjunction's are unsurpassed in the timing element. Other great new's for more Information on the Court cards see the Master's book. WOW- really blew my mind. Connolly Fan.

In vol II, I was delighted to read a Tarotologist who goes into depth on the art of reading Tarot well, rather than sticking only to card interpretations, as so many modern authors do. This is not a repeat of all the other Tarot books you've bought this past 20 years. lol

This series was written for those who love Tarot and want to delve into her depths. I've been reading 20 plus years, Connolly Tarot deck was the first I've owned, Ms. Connolly has a gift. If you are a weekend Tarot reader or only interested in mundane Tarot, this book may not be for you. I recommend it whole-heartedly to anyone who truly wishes to create a lasting bond to the Oracle.

Last, I own everything Ms. Connolly has written; I have only good things to say.

I highly recommend this book, along with her other Tarot books. They are the best I have ever used and the readings are so accurate. I would buy any book this lady writes...she really knows her stuff! I suggest using her Connolly Tarot Deck along with her Tarot books, as they are also the best.

Ms. Connolly's name belongs right up there along with Arthur Waite and Crowley. She is a genius in her own right. More than simply an adept at tarot divination. Her books and her two decks, The Connolly Tarot and the Feng Shui tarot are mind blowing. Buy the books first, starting with the Apprentice, then this one, the Journeyman and finally the Master. If you are looking for real meaning for yourself and your spirtuality, she has the answers.
