Author Yasmine Galenorn has done it once again with her latest book, Tarot Journeys. For anyone who ever asked themselves, "Who am I?", "Where have I been?", "Where am I going?", this is a "must read".

Tarot Journeys uses the higher forces of the Major Arcana to answer these questions. Starting with "The Fool", which represents new beginnings, the meditations prepare and strengthen you. As you continue on your journey, you discover new insight, you face and battle your own demons, you gain knowledge, and self worth; all while flowing through beautiful fables of the imagination. When you reach the end of your journey with "The World", you will have come to realize the one truth: YOURSELF.

Tarot has always been a wonderful divination tool; Ms Galenorn raises it to a whole new level. With the 22 meditations and suggested exercises, and the beautiful meditation CD that accompanies it, Tarot Journeys is the definitive book of self-discovery. This is a book to enjoy over and over again. With every new reading, your questions will be answered, your knowledge increased and your insight broadened. Most importantly, you will begin to discover your true worth, your true self.

Taort Journey's represents, in my opinion, a watershed in the creative talents of Miss Galenorn. The meditations in this book are deeply evocative, channeling the ture essence of every card. The author does not merely stop at one deck. She uses several to glean the material for the meditations. In the HIgh Priestess we see shades of Crowley. The Empress draws upon more Pagan decks. The meditations build on eachother, so that they really exist as an entire Quest. Tarot Journeys includes a CD with two of the meditations recorded by a professional voice actor. These are wonderful, and one only wishes the entire book had been treated thus. For anyone seeking to know the Tarot, this book is delightful. Even if you couldn't care less about cartomancy, the Fool's Journey will evoke the Deepr nature within you.

What an excellent book! The meditation like descriptions of the major arcana are fantastic. Its like having someone personally guide you through the inside of each card, emotionally and physically. The c.d that comes with this book is STELLAR as it is a guided visualization/meditation that also guides you and walks you through a personal tarot awareness journey/path with each card. The c.d alone in my opinion, is worth the book price. A "must have" for your tarot library. Wonderful book/cd!

Yasmine has done it again! Tarot Journeys has led me on a journey through myself (inside and out) and has brought me to a place that I never thought a Tarot deck coul bring me! I highly recommend all of Yasmine's books to everyone who is interested in Witchcraft (and Tarot Journeys to anyone interested in Tarot, not just Witchcraft). Blessed Be :)

This exciting new book from Yasmine Galenorn includes 22 meditations based on each of the Major Arcana cards of the Tarot. Although each visualization focuses on mainly one aspect of each card, Galenorn gives you a lot of clues on how to write your own in case something is not covered. This is a very thorough book, which demands a level of commitment to be fully enjoyed, and although it will be suitable to tarot novices, I would recommend it to someone who's already acquainted with a deck or two. It doesn't include info on divination, but it does your tarot skills as a secondary result. The only reason I didn't give it four stars is that I expected the CD to contain all 22 visualizations and it only contains two of them. I would love to see a book on the Minor Arcana and/or a book on divination from the same writer.
