5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderul tool for learning the meaning of the cards and how to use them.
Sandy has created an easy to understand tool that teaches a selection of meanings for the Tarot cards and then takes that knowledge a step further as the reader is introduced to some of the different type 'spreads' used by many professionals today. This book allows the reader to use Sandy's meanings as a guidline, but also encourages the use of one's own personal...

1.0 out of 5 stars Shame on The View! Shame on Whoopi Goldberg!
I've just watched the appearance of this author on ABC's The View and I am disappointed this program would allow her distortions of culture and history to be broadcast as if they were fact. Tarot cards do not have any mysterious origin. The Gypsies have nothing at all to do with tarot cards and the tarot was not designed for "psychic training" This author is one of all...

Sandy has created an easy to understand tool that teaches a selection of meanings for the Tarot cards and then takes that knowledge a step further as the reader is introduced to some of the different type 'spreads' used by many professionals today. This book allows the reader to use Sandy's meanings as a guidline, but also encourages the use of one's own personal interpretation. This workbook is a wonderful guide for anyone who wishes to learn simply for their own enjoyment, and also gives the needed education for those who wish to 'take it to the next level'!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book on Tarot!!, April 14, 2010

Ever since I knew what Tarot Cards were I have always wanted to learn! I read several on the subject but failed to learn, perhaps my own self-discipline. All I know is that Sandy's method of teaching the Tarot has simplified and enthused my Tarot Reading Skills! I am still working through the book but that's the beauty of it - you learn by doing! And best of all, you can't get it wrong! Since every Reader reads differently as each sees something new! How exciting!

Tarot cards do not have any mysterious origin. The Gypsies have nothing at all to do with tarot cards and the tarot was not designed for "psychic training" This author is one of all too many frauds making money from tarot card reading by falsifying the history of these cards. Researchers have a pretty good idea that they first appeared in 15th century Italy. They were not used for any psychic purpose until the 18th century. The media should be more skeptical and stop promoting the lies being told by these psychic frauds. Tarot was made for card games.
