More About the Author

Pamela Eakins came into this life with curiosity and words. She has never stopped writing since she submitted her first book to Random House at the age of ten (which was ever-so-kindly rejected). Her first memorable accolades came with a gold medal she won in the Colorado Bicentennial Competition for her essay on the blue spruce. As she studied for her doctorate at the University of Colorado at Boulder, she continued to write everyday. Writing became her morning practice. Her dissertation, Mothers in Transition, was published soon after she moved to California to birth her babies, to become the director of a childbirth center, and to conduct research at Stanford University and UCLA. On a high cliff over the ocean, her written expression continued to grow as did her spiritual sense of inter-being. She published The American Way of Birth and began work on Tarot of the Spirit and Priestess. Whether scholarly or mystical, whether accepted or rejected, writing, in and of itself, has never been at question for Pamela Eakins. Nor has teaching. Pamela conducts classes online and onsite: tarot, qabalah, women's circles, and writing. The art for these cards is phenomenally beautiful and presents a very Lighted version of the Tarot. The book allows clear, easy readings, but also profides a basis for understanding our deep spiritual levels of existence, based on the Qabalistic model of the Tree of Life. A great choice!

I highly recommend this book and deck. It is deep, detailed, passionate, advanced. It is the best Tarot book and deck ever published. Even the publisher, US Games, which publishes hundreds of tarot decks, calls it the most masterful deck. You will not be disappointed. Let it take you on your spiritual journey.

By far, this is the best! Over the past 20 years, I have read and used many different Tarot books and of them all--this one is, without a doubt--the best!

It is beautifully written at the soul level, and provides monumental sources of inspiration, motivation, and understanding to carry you through the trials, tribulations, and growth experiences of everyday life!

It has never failed to be right on target for me and has helped me to think on the positive and spiritual side even at the seemingly darkest of times!

If you love Tarot--this book is a must! It is a magnificent and wonderful piece of work and I recommend it highly!
