5.0 out of 5 stars No Complaints Here
It's rare that I come across a new tarot deck that I find to be anything more than a collage of computer generated inages, this one is so much more. While It's not a deck I use for divination, it is a powerfull meditation tool. I have read some of the other reviews where people have complained that the cards are too thin. 2.0 out of 5 stars Very Poor Quality
I'll make this short. I loved the artwork and psychological concept of this deck. It was truly beautiful and innovative. The reason I gave this 2 stars is because the paper quality of the cards is absolutely awful. I returned mine! A set this expensive with such poor quality cards in inexcusable. The publisher should be ashamed. I think it is a widespread problem,...

It's rare that I come across a new tarot deck that I find to be anything more than a collage of computer generated inages, this one is so much more. While It's not a deck I use for divination, it is a powerfull meditation tool. I have read some of the other reviews where people have complained that the cards are too thin. It is true that they are thinner than many decks, however, the lamination on them makes them sturdy as can be. I have had this deck for a year and a half now, I have never once had any problems with bending, peeling edges, freying, or anything of the kind. This deck has been constructed well. The authors also offer some different interperations on the cards, if you are looking for something different perhaps this is your deck!

I have seen and worked with many decks and of all of them this particular deck is deffinently #1.....The authors have created such an amazing world for the reader to enter when looking into these cards. They are mirrors into your own soul. These cards have the ability to reflect the whole person. They promote Health, Wholeness, and Holieness. These cards nourish the reader and give such a resplendant view on lifes situations. If you are looking for a tarot deck this is one you should check out.

Greetings All~
I donot agree with the person who wrote in saying that the cards are of poor quality. I found them to be very sturdy and printed on excelent card stock. These are by far one of the most beautiful and insightfull decks I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The book that accompanies the deck is also very well written and can be used to help with many of lifes questions. This deck is valueable for both Divination aswell as a tool for personal meditation. All in all this is a true gem among the myriad of other decks out there. It is well worth the money.

2.0 out of 5 stars Very Poor Quality, July 2, 2003

I'll make this short. I loved the artwork and psychological concept of this deck. It was truly beautiful and innovative. The reason I gave this 2 stars is because the paper quality of the cards is absolutely awful. I returned mine! A set this expensive with such poor quality cards in inexcusable. The publisher should be ashamed. I think it is a widespread problem, as I saw similar comments for the Tarot of Paris, which is published by the same people. If you plan on using this deck for readings I'm not so sure its worth the $$ - as I can't see the cards lasting very long. In addition to the very very thin paper stock, many of the edges were jagged. The author and the artist should really have a word with the publisher. It is a shame!

3.0 out of 5 stars Mixed feelings, January 13, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Tarot of Transformation: Chart Your Own Course to Healing and Spiritual Awakening (Paperback)
Ok, let's start off with the good points. I have to say, the pictures on the cards are BEAUTIFUL and BREATH TAKING! You'll definately be captivated by these pictures. However, I'm VERY dissapointed with the quality of the cards, they are so thin, and easily bendable. These cards will not stand a chance of being use over a period of many years, in other words, they are not very durable, but maybe they will last if they're used gently, but I could deal with that. What I can't deal with is the fact that the authors changed the universal meanings of the some of the cards, which makes me feel that if I use these cards, I have to learn the meanings all over agian, which sucks! My final word is, I look at these cards, and I say to myself, "It is TOO BAD! Such beautiful cards, why did they have to ruin it by re-creating the meanings of some of these cards, and the cards having suc poor quality?!". Again, If these cards even kept the same meanings, I would see past the poor quality, and would definately give the ratings 5 stars, it angers me that I can't do that! That's how beautiful these pictures are. $40 is a lot of money to get poor quality with the wrong meanings. If you can get these cards for at least half the price, then I still say buy 'em! Well, I hope this review helps somebody.

4.0 out of 5 stars A very beautiful deck, March 14, 2006

The Tarot of Transformation is a very beautiful deck which will certainly be useful particularly in addressing womens issues. However, a beginning tarot user might find it difficult because in some areas it does not closely follow any of the traditional formats. So, I would recommend it for the experienced user. That said, the Tarot of Transformation would make a very good meditation tool for anyone.

2.0 out of 5 stars beautiful cards, but flimsy and cheaply made, September 18, 2007

I ordered this deck because I saw some of Willows gorgeous art prints at a local store. The artwork is simply exquisite, but I can only give 2 starts to this set because it is so cheaply made. The "card"stock is flimsy and the entire set was poorly made, starting with the box that contains this set, down to the box of the deck and the cards themselves. What a shame! Otherwise I would give it 5 stars....

5.0 out of 5 stars Enchanting Images - Spiritually Intelligent Writing, January 29, 2008
This review is from: Tarot of Transformation: Chart Your Own Course to Healing and Spiritual Awakening (Paperback)
This well crafted Tarot set is at the top of my recommendations list for study, meditation, readings, and gifts. While the Rider-Waite is excellent for initially learning the more traditional symbols and meanings, this contemporary compilation of inspired imagery and spiritual insight enables the seeker to go so much further. In my teaching I find most students prefer the feminine fluidity and masculine grace of this newer rendering, especially for meditations or skrying. At the same time, this set honors the ancient forms and voices of our archetypal inheritance. I appreciate the author's ability to see beyond the fundamental, helping the reader or student to expand the possibilities of personal awareness and compassion for others. Once we know the basics (such as from the Rider-Waite), The Tarot of Transformation invites us to integrate thought-provoking artistry and interpretations that lead us to what I would call a much higher vibration and context. The marriage of Willow Arlenea's spirited watercolors and Jasmin Cori's educated heart is a perfect match. This is the most outstanding Tarot combination to come around in a long, long time and I predict it will be referenced and sought out for years to come.

I love these cards!!! I only wish they were on less flimsy card stock, I have been contemplating trying to fix my deck, maybe contact paper?? I will probably have to go to the printer and get them redone on heavier paper, which is probably breaking some copyright law, but whats a girl to do??

5.0 out of 5 stars A connection to divinity, September 7, 2004
This review is from: Tarot of Transformation: Chart Your Own Course to Healing and Spiritual Awakening (Paperback)
The authors and illustrators of this deck much have been touched by the creator herself. These cards are rich with symbolism and meaning. If you are longing for a deck which will open the doors of perception to you, you have found it. The colors and shades used seem almost dream like in their depictions. I consider myself truly belssed to own this deck as hopefuly so will you.
