Section 68b(a)(6)), states that a wool or textile product may not be labeled as containing cashmere unless: such wool product is the fine (dehaired) undercoat fibers produced by a cashmere goat (capra hircus laniger); average diameter of the fiber of such wool product does not exceed 19 microns; and such wool product does not contain more than 3 percent (by weight) of cashmere fibers with average diameters that exceed 30 microns. The scarf is very well made and does not shed.
No, this is not a burberry scarf, nevertheless, it is 100% cashmere, the look is wonderful for a fraction of the department store's prices. I just ordered more to gift this Christmas, It came nicely wrapped in a cello bag and a large round gold sticker of Reyes Avila, LLC and care instructions label. Buy from Mysterious Bolivian for the Cashmere scarf, the rest sell " cashmere feel" or viscose!
While thin, it keeps you very warm. Highly recommend, great quality and fashionable look at a very good price!!
72" The width is 12" with the fringe. I purchased mine from Mysterious Bolivian for $28 - $29 , the ones selling for $14 are not cashmere, they are cheap viscose material that will shed after one use!! just go to [...]100% Cashmere Tan Bbry Scarf Plaid Beige (Made in Scotland) 100% Cashmere to get directly the importer and avoid the " Cashmere Like" listings. You can clearly see the difference at the pictures, the viscose scarves look like they are sick and the colors are fading, check the picture of the one with the two little llamas looking at each other and you can see the difference in a blink!

Nice look but don't feel its cashmere or even wool (get what you paid for). It leaves fuzzy fibers on dark background clothes which is really problematic.

Not worth the money
Full of irregularities in the weave that makes it look likes holes in the fabric. Would not recommend it, would rather spend more for a scarf without flaws.
