Get just the DR-05 June 30, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase
I got this bundle because it looked like a good deal for the headphones. But I must say, they are the worst headphones I own and I have quite a few, no bass, too much treble, so bad that it can't be fixed with EQ.

So if you want the DR-05 which is pretty decent, get it by itself. The cable and case you can get anywhere at your liking.

Others on Amazon are offering this recorder for the same price with no extras, decent bag with built in speakers, extra cables (we could always use a few of those) and a semi decent tripod and headset (you likely don't need the tripod and already have good headphones if you're buying one of these) - great deal.

Was a little worried by the other reviewer who complained about the headset, but it's not that bad (not that good either, but it was basically free.)

I'd recommend this package over the bare bones just the recorder for the same price.
