I got the Tascam with accessory package because it was worth it just for the 8GB card. I will skip over the DR-100 since you can find more reviews on that elsewhere. Battery, remote, and SD card all work perfect. My 1/8" cable had lots of feedback and contact issues so I threw it out since I had better quality ones anyway (it felt durable but just was crappy). My ear buds are good enough for basic listening stuff but I wouldn't use them as field headphones by a long shot.

All and all, if you are gunna get a DR-100, get the package, it's not all top of the line but it is a great starter kit.

The device might be wonderful. I don't know yet, it's still charging (6 hours through USB port).
But i want to comment on the seller - Sonic Sense -
Well ...
I ordered this product with it's bonus pack.
I got it in a crumpled box, like someone has used it before or at least demonstrated it or something. Both outside and inside the box, it looks as if i bought used equipment.
Worse than that, they simply forgot to send the bonus pack!
I paid the extra cash for getting 8Gb SDHC Card, Ear Buds earphones and 1/8" cables - and they forgot to include them.
Talking with Amazon Support they requested me to send the whole package back, get a refund and re-order. They were sorry, that's the only way they can help me.
I have a short film to shoot next weekend and no time for such foolishness.
I give up!
But do yourselves a favor,
if you want the tascam dr-100 - buy it from another seller!
