Nice little monocular, February 10, 2002
This review is from: Tasco 10x25 Monocular (Electronics)
This is a nice little monocular you could easily carry in a pocket or purse 5 3/8 by 1 3/8 inches. It does come with a soft case that has a belt loop on the back
The optics are VERY good. As a test; I read the numbers of a license plate at more than 150 yards.
I like this monocular a lot, but I have two problems with it.
1. You focus the monocular by twisting the eye cup. Over time this may cause the rubber eye cup to come off.
2. there are no lens caps to keep the lenses clean. Tasco did provide lens cleaning cloths with the monocular, but in my opinion; the best way to handle this is to provide lens caps so the lens will not get dirty in the first place. If you are not careful; you could scratch the lenses while trying to clean them.

Really handy, August 12, 2008
This review is from: Tasco 10x25 Monocular (Electronics)
I've used this monocular for years. It's great for me. I have low vision, so it's come in handy at plays, concerts and even checking road signs while travelling. The case, unfortunately, is pretty cheap. The stitching popped within days. Other than that, it's great. It's more convenient than binoculars and a bit more portable.
