I bought this beginner telescope & microscope set for my seven year old son for Christmas. He absolutely LOVES it! I was nervous that, because of the price, it might not be very durable. However, was I SUPER surprised! This is such a NICE set!! It is almost summertime and he still begs to play with it! I would suggest this kit for any child who has a beginning curiosity in science.

I purchased this product for my grandson's 8th birthday - granted it is not professional equipment but neither is he - he and his family have had a great time looking at the stars and anything else he can bring home -

I got this for my son's seventh birthday. He loves it. It works great for what I got it for. Perfect for a starter gift. Once he has this one down we will look at moving on to something bigger. Seller was awesome. Got this gift even sooner than stated. Thanks again.

This is a great starter telescope/microscope for young kids. My son who is 10 had no trouble at all putting this together and uses it every night. great value, would not be able to find anything that would compare for the price at any retail store.

Purchased this even with bad reviews but really worked just fine! Could see the moon and details on leaves in the tree.....great for my 9 year old! Loved the bonus of microscope too!

This Telescope & Microscope was much more than I expected my Grandson loves it . It can fast and undamaged. I would by again from this site.

As much as I realize that these are "toys"-both telescope and microscope do not work well. The telescope is very difficult to focus; the microscope light bulb does not sit well and keeps going off. My grandson is very disappointed-so am I.

my grandson is 8 years old and is enjoying the Tasco 49TN Refractor telescope & microscope. Perfect for his age. he enjoys watching clouds and stars. good value for the money.

Got this for my daughter on her 8th birthday. Great for a childs first! I would recomend it for a young child.

I bought this telescope for my 9yr old grandson. This item is a good gift for a nine yr old . If you are serous about this hobby this telescope is not for you. Great price for this item.
