This is, undoubtedly, my favorite cookbook! I've used most of the receipts in it many times with great results. I also enjoy just READING it, especially on a cold winter day when it' snowing outside. Tasha's stories and drawings make this a special treat for me to read and use!

I really do like the Tasha Tudor Cookbook. The recipes are very good and the illustrations make it special. This is a collectible. I am a cookbook collector and this is one I cherish. I have many of Tasha Tudor books. They are all wonderful.

What a great little cookbook! It will bring back lots of childhood memories. There are lots of everyday cooking, without all the extra frills. I just love this wonderful cookbook.

This is a fascinating lady and I have tried some of the recipes. All have been well liked by everyone who has eaten them. I would recommend this book as well as any other for adults and children alike. Her videos take you to another time and place - try them.

Do not let the whimsical dainty painting on the books cover make you think this is a book for children. It is in fact a book that adults will love. Especially those who love homesteading, simply living, family and friends.

Not only are the recipes wonderful but the author has included a dialogue on what makes the recipe one she likes but she also has done wonderful water colour paintings to accompany the recipes.

And the recipes are varied from Appetizers and Salads, to Soups, breads and muffins, Main dishes to desserts and beverages. It is a cookbook that will become a family heirloom.

When I pick up a book by Tasha Tudor, I am transported to another way of living...a better way. I love her recipe for potato salad, for cheesy toasts, and ofcourse the Christmas treats which she suggests one serves in beautiful paper cornucopias. Equally as enjoyable as the recipes are the wonderful illustrations.

Tasha Tudor's cookbook makes you long for the past when your grandmother taught you how to make the perfect pie crust. Ms. Tudor's own illustrations add to the charm of a book that reminds you of happy times spent in the kitchen. Her recipes and personal stories encourage you recreate that time with your own children and grandchildren.

Anything by Tasha Tudor is a work of art! Her illustrations, and down to earth practicality, is revealed -- upclose -- in this delightful book! This is the kind of book you can give a little girl of any age -- even 99!

The recipes are great, but what I loved more are the beautiful illustrations.... This is a book I will keep for my grandchildren.

As a Tasha Tudor fan, I loved this little cookbook and Tasha's personal comments that accompany each recipe. No gourmet food, just simple homey dishes. Of course, Tasha's illustrations are throughout the book.
