This amazing book is based on the actions of a Theodore W. Noon Jr., the authors husband. the book gave a compelling description of the WWII mindset and battlefield. If you are looking for a book that will keep you reading this is the book for you.

This is a moving story about an American couple in World War II. It is deeply engrossing and a quick-moving read; I couldn't put it down! The combat scenes are harrowing, and I really felt for the characters.
