I'm very happy to see this item on Amazon because I find it impossible to locate it at my local stores. Note that this filter only fits the Tassimo machine that allows for a filter (the TA1400 with a 68-oz. water tank). It does not fit the TA1200 with a 50oz water tank (which does not come with a water filter). If your machine originally came with a filter it is the TA1400 and this is the replacement water filter for it. The filter does a good job and allows me to quickly fill the tank with tap water as opposed to using water from my kitchen filter which comes out slowly and takes much longer to fill the tank.

these older filters are increasingly hard to find. i used to buy them here on amazon for $10 apiece. this current price of $30 is WAY too expensive, even if they are hard to find. most sites are out of stock, but i did find the filters for my older braun tassimo machine at coffeewiz.com for $9.

I have purchased this filter before for $7.99 and now it is $40 what is going on? This price is completely insane. This company is full of %&*@!!!!!!!!!

Make sure you have the latest version b/c I have the first generation and it doesn't fit, but I can't return it b/c I opened it.

This product is a replacement filter for the Tassimo brewing system by Braun. It appears they have stopped making these as they were quite hard to find and expensive for a simple filter. Other than that, installation is easy. You soak it in water for 30 minutes and then connect it inside to the bottom of the Tassimo water tank. This worked well on my Tassimo which was purchased about five years ago. I am worried though they I won't be able to find these for long so you might want to snag an extra.

Filter functions as advertised, but the cost has gone up with every filter unit I have purchased over the years. With the changes in coffees available (no more Starbucks) I am not sure I will continue with Tassimo when the current filter needs replacement.

Go figure. A company puts out a great product and then goes ahead and discontinues it. These filters are hard to come by. However, this company was prompt and I got my filter as promised. thanks!

Really sad that they are trying to force Tassimo customers to replace their units by over-pricing the accessories. I found the Tassimo Water Filter 76208 on Sears for under $7. It looks like I purchased the last two available. I'll keep looking for them because $25 each is ridiculous.

My local Dillards put them on sale due to, I guess, Tassimo discontinuing them. Dillards was selling them for $3/ea.

Selling them for $44.14 is ABSOLUTELY, RIDICULOUS. I'll buy a new machine before I will submit to this type of highway ROBBERY!!!!! (Paying for THREE filters will buy you a new machine....completely blows my mind.....)
