4.0 out of 5 stars Great coffee...pricey
The Tassimo brewer makes coffee as good or better than at any Starbucks. It is actually very impressive. It is very easy to use and keep clean. I recommend either distilled or highly filtered water so your machine doesn't scale. The Starbucks pods are close to $1 a piece. This seems pricey to me. Especially since it makes about an eight ounce cup. A 16 ounce cup at...

A 16 ounce cup at Starbucks isn't much more than $2. The Africa Kitamu has an excellent bold flavor. I prefer the Cafe Verona though as far as the course blends go, and the Columbia for medium bodied blends. I really did not care for pods by other makers like Gevalia Kafe or Maestro. The Twinning's Tea and Tazo Tea pods are superb though. So, in summary, the Tassimo puts Starbucks in your kitchen. The Africa Kitamu is delicious. They are both pricey though. You are paying a hefty sum for the convenience.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best tasting T-Disc I've had, March 29, 2010

The African Kitamu is delicious! I've had multiple people tell me that it's their favourite t-disc from our Tassimo. It's got a bold flavour, but it's very drinkable. It's not harsh like some of other bolds can be. It's got great balance and it has quickly become my favourite as well.
