Tasso of Tarpon Springs,
By A Customer
This review is from: Tasso of Tarpon Springs (Paperback)
What a great book. All ages can enjoy this lively story. Each chapter builds the suspense of the story and you won't want to put it down. The history that was portrayed was very educational and helped give a better understanding of the times that Tasso lived. The Tarpon Springs community in Florida shouls be very proud of this book. The vocabulary is so descriptive you can easily imagine walking with Tasso and Willie. I highly reccommend this book for fun and learning. Wish the author would write more, a series would be fun!!

Florida History for Tarpon Springs,
This review is from: Tasso of Tarpon Springs (Paperback)
The author pens a story about a Greek immigrant in which is woven the story of the sponge docks of Tarpon Springs. Children follow the adventures of Tasso, identifying with his different predicaments. This is a great teaching tool for fourth graders!
