This book truly was inspiring to me. I believe people will be uplifted and ministered to. The characters are so real and easy to connect with! I especially liked Sherese because she seemed so much like myself, not knowing which direction she was going to take in life. It really was encouraging and motivational! Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

This book is very inspirational, you can really find yourself relating to the characters in some aspect throughout the book. This is an easy read, really captivates your interest to the point where you don't want to put the book down. I highly recommend reading this book.

The "Good News" that I believe this book grasps so wonderfully is the message that God does love us! No matter what the situation or how far we go in the far country, He remains faithful to us. I feel MaRita Teague has eloquently captured the culture of not only us an African-American people, but us as human and the human need for a loving and forgiving Father for ourselves as well as others. I wish many young adults read this and receive what Mrs. Teague says she had in mind when she wrote this...a taste of good fruit.

I read this book in one sitting. What an inspiration it was! This is definitely a must have for your Christian Book Collection. I look forward to the next one.

Not only is this book good for the Spirit but it tastes good to the soul! Each of the characters in this novel are well-defined and very realistic. A woman can find things about herself in each of the women in this story. So whether you're sophisticated and searching or down and in despair, this book gives us a wonderful example of the endless possibilities that faith in the Father offers. This was an excellent investment that has left me feeling both warm and inspired. I am looking forward to reading more from this author!

This book is great. It challened my beliefs on faith, friendship and forgiveness. I've bout 3 extra copies that I've given to some of my girlfriends for their birthdays in hopes that it will inspire them the way it inspired me.

Simply wonderful! I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. I could not put it down...I was so touched by the powerful and overwhelming spiritual message of the book that it kept me captivated. I don't see how anyone who reads this beautifully written book would not be moved. I could see so much of my own life in some of the characters. The author does an outstanding job of allowing the reader to actually feel like you are right there with the characters. I absolutely loved the book and am anxious to read more from this wonderful author. I was truly blessed by this reading!

MaRita Teague is obviously a very gifted writer with a sharp, fascinating insight on the challenges, temptations and triumphs of the Christian life. The characters, Sydney, Sherese and Chanel are well-developed and true to life -- women we can all relate to in one way or another. The book sends a very powerful and timely message - one we sometimes lose sight of - God is greater than our circumstances! This is one of the best-written inspirational books I've read in a very long time. You don't want to miss it.

I loved this book !!!! Once you start it you will not put it down. I was able to relate to so many things, which made it a page turner. If you are a woman that has been through any trials in life you will absolutely love it. Read it and be blessed.

This book categorized as Christian Fiction, peels at the different layers in life, love, loss, forgiveness and friendship. Finding your purpose in the face of adversity, dealing with loss by faith; no matter what we go thru in life God loves us in spite of our faults and fears. The characters narrated the journey from beginning to end, and were easy to relate to. Their issues could have involved any of us, as we live life day to day. Sometimes life's lessons can be hard to swallow, but we know from the endless love of God that from every test, there's a testimony!
