My main purpose for writing this book was to document culinary delights for those Haitians born and/or raised in this country, or in different parts of the world, as well as for those interested in what make this cuisine so good. I hope Haitians everywhere are as proud of it as I am. It is a great honor for me to play a part in documenting Haitian cuisine. This is my tribute to the lovely people of Haiti and their scrumptious food.
