Pretty good
Almost every recipe in this book that i've tried is worth keeping. A few too many time consuming recipes or too many ingredients required. It's my go-to book when i'm trying to figure out what to do with the ground beef I thawed out the night before. Many family favorites from this book. Definitely worth buying!

Mediocre
This cookbook does not seem up to typical Taste of Home standards. The recipes are simply not that good tasting for the most part. Some are pretty good, but way below par. I recommend the Taste of Home Annual Cookbooks, which are incredible, instead.

Every recipe I've tried so far in this book turned out excellent. There are hunter's in the house, so we use a lot of ground beef/venison mixture. It was easy to make the substitution. I reccommend this book for new cooks. The instructions are very user friendly.

I thought I was buying the 2005 copy writed book, that is the book pictured, but instead I recieved the 1999 book. Now I have 2 of them. The book was in excellent condition, but it was just the wrong one.
