4.0 out of 5 stars Loving Texas all the way from England, November 17, 2001
By
Tiffany Mulhall (Swindon, England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Taste of Texas: Songs Bout Texas By Texans (Audio CD)
Speaking as a displaced Texan living abroad in the UK, I loved this CD. It made my heart do flip-flops just thinking about my beautiful homeland. This compalation is one all Texans should have in their collection. If nothing else for Moe Bandys Deep in The Heart of Texas and two great songs by the Vaughn brothers. One more thing, if ya haven't been to Texas, ya better get there pretty darn quick. The people are friendly, the air is clean, and there's plenty of room. I love ya TEXAS!

This is a great CD if you want to scratch a Texas itch. You won't kick yourself afterwards saying "why did I get this cd?" No regrets here, it is a great compilation.

This was a perfect gift for my nephew, who is moving to Texas from Pennsylvania. I bought it for him to listen to on the drive to Austin. I'm sure he will enjoy it!
