Directions
On the Stovetop: 1. Bring 1 3/4 cups water (for creamier rice, replace half the water with coconut milk) to a boil in covered pot. Add 1 tbsp butter or oil, if desired. 2. Add contents of box. Stir and cover. Reduce heat to Low for 15 minutes. 3. Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. Enjoy. In the Microwave: 1. Stir together all ingredients plus 1-3/4 water (for creamier rice, replace half the water with coconut milk) in a microwave-safe dish. Add 1 tbsp butter or oil, if desired. 2. Cover and microwave on High for 8 minutes. Uncover and stir. 3. Re-cover and microwave on High for 3 minutes, or until rice is soft and tender. 4. Uncover, stir, re-cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Enjoy.

This rice is great, if you are tired of the same old plain with rice. I tried making it with coconut milk like the box suggested and it turned out pretty creamy. Very easy to make in the microwave.

We love this rice dish. My daughter describes it as yummy. Quick and easy for our family of 2. We use auto delivery for this and get a bigger savings. It's cheaper on Amazon than at the retail store and it comes right to my door. We find that the seasoning in the silver package is too strong for us so we only use 1/2 of it. I would recommend that and then add more if you like a hotter taste.
