Our family loves to laugh and snaps up every comedy CD & DVD we can find, and this is hands down my favorite. Ellen's material, delivery and timing are blond head and shoulders above Jerry Seinfeld, Ray Romano, Robin Williams et al.

She spins everyday occurrences -- pushing an elevator button, using a public restroom -- into a hilarious comedy of manners:

"These bathroom stalls have no locks. Every now and then someone will open the door ... 'Oh! I'm sorry.'

"We say, 'It's OK.' We don't really mean this. I think we'd be surprised if they came back actually: 'AGGHHH!' ...'It's OK, she said it was OK. Call Julie. ... This is Julie. ... And you are ...?' "

The material is PG-13, the language clean and, refreshingly, Ellen avoids the obligatory and predictable lesbian jokes (though she has shown a deft touch with them) and sticks to more universal topics: airplanes, babies, being raised in the mountains by Hollywood Indians, etc.

We've shared this with many friends and they all find it uproarious.

Although this CD was released several years ago, it still manages to find its way into my CD player every now and then. Why you ask? Well, whenver I am having a bad day, or the world just seems to be caving in on you, put this CD in. Why you ask?

Well, for one, this is perhaps the funniest CD recorded by a comedian. And it's funny without being to vulgar. Vulgarity can be funny at times, but too much vulgarity doesn't get you respect.

Ellen takes you on a wild adventure ride and shares her thoughts and philosophies on the many facets of life. You will never think the same about an airplane ride after you hear her airplane stories. Or you will never go camping again without smiling. But more importantly, Ellen makes you laugh and that is what is really the point in life.

Yeah, it would have been nice to have "been" there, but this CD will surfice. Good job Ellen, now just go back on the circuit and shine your craft for us again.

I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life. My friends and I listen to this CD over and over. It will win over any skeptic too. When she talks about running into a plate glass window, I lauged until I cried. I think I have this CD practically memorized. If anyone sees Ellen, tell her to make more comedy sketches like these!!! BUY THIS CD! It's awesome!

This is a great cd, i work in a big office and i let everybdoy borrow it, they laugh hysterically so they all now have a copy, she is so funny, she should make more cd's like this one!

Ellen DeGenerous is at her best in this CD. She has a refreshing outlook on life, and wil make you laugh until it hurts. If there is only one fault with this CD, let it be only because she hasn't made more.

Ellen Degeneres is a one of a kind comedienne. Her style is weird and wacky, and is bust a gut, laugh out loud funny. Her comic timing is impeccable, and her material is first-rate. Although this album does cover some of what is in her book, it is funny. And I never get tired of it. Buy this album if you want to hear one of the funniest comics ever.

If you want to laugh, and if you want to laugh really really much! This cd is a must! You can't be disapointed! She is so funny! I just wish a had the chance to see it live. Ellen, WE LOVE YOU!

ELLEN DEGENERES..the queen of comedy...and one of the most talented women in the world. shes great, and really knows how to get you to believe crazy stories, like the bit about the indians, thats classic ellen. im a very big fan of hers and own all her work but this cd has to be the best. if you wanna crack a rib laughing then buy this album. just dont drive a car while doing so.

This CD is a must if you want to laugh for an hour strait. Ellen's comic timming is impecable. This CD will make you laugh untill it hurts! She does a wonderful job!

WARNING: listening to this cd may cause you to fall off the chair rolling on the floor laughing from the beginning of the first track till the end of the last track! AND YES IT IS REALLY THAT FUNNY!!!!:D way to go Ellen!!! You're the best!!
