5.0 out of 5 stars What a Treat!!!!!! November 17, 2012

I haven't been through the entire cookbook yet, but I'm prepping for the London Broil with Mushroom Sauce and the Roasted Garlic Whipped Potatoes for dinner tomorrow. This book is a delight! And the two authors, Krista and Kris are wonderful. I had a couple of questions and they more than promptly responded to my emails.

The books has a number of amazing recipes from some of the best VT dining areas both on and off campus, though I must admit with VT's Dining being the best in the nation, I prefer my alma mater's recipes a bit ;).

Just a note, but there's an error in the recipe for Cabo Fish Taco's Shrimp Taco. The instructions say to add sherry at one point, but the ingredient list doesn't list Sherry. I was told by the lovely ladies who authored this wonderful cookbook that it should be 3 TBSP of Sherry and this error will be corrected in the 2nd printing!

If you're a tech alum, a tailgator, a college football fan, a foodie, a chef or just stumbling over this, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for all Hokies! August 18, 2012
I had great expectations for this book and it far exceeds all of them. Beautifully done and the recipes take me right back to the amazing food at VT (pretty impressive given I graduated back in 2002). Love it. Job well done, ladies!

Great photography and some VT history and the recipes are good. Some of them are a little too fancy for me as I tend to be a "meat and potatoes" kind of cook. Well done though and would make a nice gift for a VT fan.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible
I was so disappointed in this cookbook. If I had seen this in a bookstore, I would have definately passed it by. The price is excessive for the number of the recipes included.
