Id recommend it to anyone who wants to feed their cat a quality food and feel confident that the ingredients are meeting kitty's nutritional needs.

My cat loves this stuff, I tend to mix it with two other brands but this is good quality and value.

I have several cats that had been on top shelf foods. I had to make cuts, and after quite some time weaning them off one, and then another, found Taste of the wild, trout, to be very good. The ingredients and nutrients are comparable to higher priced foods. They even list the PH on their website (can't remember, but just right).
Some threw up with the venison.
Tractor and Farm Supply stores (not just in the country) carry this, so do our natural pet stores for around $27.00.
I would suggest shopping around.

I bought this from my local pet store, but came to this page looking to show a friend. I had been buying cheap grocery store cat food, until I found out how much grain was in it. I thought to myself "Wait, aren't cats obligate carnivores?" and so I went looking for something better. It's pricier, but it's been worth it. I don't have to clean up vomit anymore, and my cat is shinier and softer, as well as being better behaved! It really is like upgrading your cat.

We have 2 formerly feral kittens that adopted us when they were 5-6 wks old and were abandoned by their mother cat outside of our house. They are currently 8 months old and are happy and healthy indoor housekittens eating Taste of the Wild dry food in addition to another brands grain free wet food. How did we find Taste of the Wild? My female, Gabrielle, can eat anything and it doesn't seem to affect her at all. On the other hand, her brother Socks has a much more sensitive digestive system (possibly since he was the likely runt of the litter based on his initial size in relation to his sister). We were feeding them another very good high end food that had corn in it and he was having a lot of issues with digestion so I did some research and discovered that some cats are sensitive to grains. Then I researched grain free foods...a lot of brands were WAY out of my budget, but Taste of the Wild not only has great ingredients but is also in my price range. Switched the kids gradually to it over 3 months ago and they are not only growing in size but Socks digestive issues have resolved. They are big kittens...9 lbs, 6.4 oz at just shy of 8 months with big, sturdy body frames and I definitely noticed an improvement in their coats after switching to grain free food. Would recommend Taste of the Wild any day!

We bought this for our two cats, mainly because it's an all life stages food and we would have one on kitten and one on adult. The grain free was also a deciding factor, as my vet said he didn't care what food they get as long as it is grain free and meets the needs of our kitten. We are now on our second bag and are very pleased. The older one year old is dropping some flab she had gained on Purina proplan as well as a big jump in energy. Both now have soft shiny coats and a decrease in shedding. The best part is that I'm able to feed them less but they finally clean their food bowls. the flavor variety is a huge plus! We may put our dog on the same brand as well to see how it benefits her. Great food at a great price.

I bought this at my local pet value store for $30. I wanted to get a food that "in hopes" would fill my loud overweight cats up so that they wouldn't wake me at 4am. Well, I think this is great quality food, but it doesn't fill my cats up enough to where they are not going mad at 4am. I feed my cats at 10pm, and give plenty of food, so there is no excuse. Regardless, I would recommend this brand if you're looking to go grain free and want to care for your cat's health. I do agree that it does make your cat's fur much smoother and softer.

Found out that one of my kitties has a chicken allergy (she had scratched out her hair all around her neck and ears and even made sores, and had terrible loose stools/diarrhea). The vet had us trying the Science Diet Z/D but neither of my kitties were willing to eat it, even with some chicken free wet food on it... so I had to look for other options and found a natural pet store in my home town. They gave me samples of a bunch of types of dry chicken free food and they both went crazy over this... they certainly didn't act like they could tell it didn't have chicken or grain in it. My kitties allergy has completely cleared up and I can tell that her stools are getting better and better. So, bummer that a kitty would have an allergy to chicken at all, but nice to know there is a great option with this food and I don't have to try and feed the kitties separately (which I would certainly have had to do with the Z/D if only for the expense).
