I was feeding my dog an all natural canned dog food. I believed this was the best quality food I could give
him. But after I did more research, I began to realize, the canned food was good/but I could do
better. This dry product is easy to serve/store/and MOST of all has absolutely NO FILLERS !!
A canine really shouldn't be eating cereal; and it's a key ingredient in so may of the foods on the market.
I love my pet; and he deserves the BEST !! I think I've finally found it in "Taste of the Wild".
I'm quite confident "he" would say the same.

My Rottie's digestion has improved over 95%. No more vomiting, "doggie" gas and increased energy. Great food. I add it in with another Taste of the Wild food with bison. She loves it...even begs for it when it's dinner time. What a change.

Our Cockapoo Ringo loves TOTW Pacific Stream! I wanted to feed him something with Salmon for the omega 3's since he's a rescue dog and has been starved to near death in the recent months. We started off with a chicken recipe from Nature's Recipe first but he loves TOTW as well. We tried Blue Buffalo salmon recipe but he ended up throwing up with that one and refused to eat it after a couple of meals. This bag was great as an intro to the food and we'll certainly be buying the 30lb bag once it's gone! I would highly encourage you to slowly introduce your dog to this new food though, as changing their diet abruptly can upset their stomach. Since Ringo is about 15 lbs, we started off with 1/2C of the current food and 1/4C of TOTW Pacific Stream. In the next week, we'll be adjusting the portions so it's about 50/50 and then after about a month he'll be fully on this formula. We use this food when we do tricks as well and he just eats it right up and can't wait for another bite.

Highly recommend this to anyone looking for high quality dry dog food with salmon. I might do a combination of TOTW salmon and TOTW bison in the future depending how he's doing and what kind of diet he needs.

After having to add some wet food to my dog's meals in order to give her a crushed pill 2 years ago, my dog has not touched totally dry food until now. She would starve herself rather than just eat dry good. Since she had eaten dry food all her life, I hated to start with the canned food, because I felt she would have better health (teeth, digestive, etc.) on dry food. But you do what you have to do to get them to eat and take their medication.

Recently our groomer gave us a couple of sample bags of TOTW salmon flavor. At first, I mixed it with usual canned food. Then I noticed my picky dog eating dry food off the floor, so I gave her a few bites of TOTW dry and she gobbled it up. I gave her a little more and she again quickly ate it. I immediately ordered a 5 lb bag to give it a try. She has developed digestive and anal gland problems recently and I'm hoping going to the grain free and mostly dry food diet will help these recent health issues.

My 10 month old Boston terrier / Chihuahua puppy,Luce', loves this. It kinda smells like food for fishes, but she cannot back away when I pour the food into her bowl lol I followed the direction on the label and mixed the old dog food with the new and let her get used to it. It turns out that she ate all the new food first before the old ones. One thing I have to note is, she has to go out sooner to potty than the previous food. That makes it more convenient for me. Luce' definitely loves this. The only bad side is that the bag is not resealable/zip-lock, but I fixed it up by taping it back. It works wonders and so does the fresh food.

Well, I was disappointed when my two dogs did not want to touch it. I am assuming it is because of the fish smell. So rather than tossing the bag into the trash I pour some onto the side walk at night for the stray cats to eat. Every morning it is gone! I won't rate this product low because I know that others dogs might like this, but not mine. I will just stick with the prairie formula.

My Basenji had gotten rashes from reacting to the grain in other dog foods and our vet suggested we find a grain free brand for him. Now rash free, he just loves his dog food!

Our dog always had weepy eyes, and the veterinary opthamologist suggested that it was possible she was allergic to her food.

I tried this food because the ingredients were completely different than the food we had been giving her (Eukanuba). Her weepy eyes dried up for the first time, ever. It smells rather fishy, so I tried the venison one, and the weeping started again. So back to the "fish food", and no more weepy eyes. To limit the fishy smell, I just make sure to close up the bag tightly so it is limited to what I put in her bowl - which she finishes quickly! ;)

I made the mistake once before (but not this time!) of switching our dog's food abruptly, and my advice to you is that if you decide to switch your dog's food, phase it in slowly over a week, because otherwise you may be dealing with a case of doggy diarhea - yuck! - take it from someone who knows! (I was told better, but I did it because I was nearly out of the original food & didn't want to buy more of it. In hindsight, it would have been worth the price of a 30 pound bag to avoid what our dog & I went through!)
