A member of the honeysuckle family, Elderberries have a delicious intense spicy-grapey flavor. Elderberries grow in dense thickets. Their off-white flowers yield a bluish-black pea sized fruit when ripe in late summer. When ripe, Elderberries are known to be high in Vitamin A.

This is not really Elderberry Honey, it is just regular clover honey with Elderberry juice added - it is more like Elderberry jelly in consistency. Probably would be good on biscuits, but that's about it.
