About the Author
Good food and travel in paradise provide the inspiration for author/artist Karen Bacon to create Tasting Paradise. Following the outstanding success of the first edition, Karen has once again collaborated with chefs across the state to create a second edition of this unique cookbook/restaurant guide. She has lived in Hawaii since 1990. When not traveling the Islands and sampling chefs specialties, she writes, paints, designs books and operates her graphic design business in Kula, Maui, where she lives with her teenage daughter.

I just returned from the Islands yesterday and couldn't wait to open my cookbook I purchased a few years ago.. I have made many many recipes from this book and I am always amazed at how great the recipes turn out. I would love to see another edition come with some recipes from some of the newer resturants.Aloha and Mahalo
