Directions

The paneer cheese cubes (soft, lightly flavored cheese cubes) are one of my favorite accents in a dish, and Tasty Bite does an amazing job of them. The spinach is blended into the curry sauce, so there are no actual leaves of spinach, it is like a thick saucy stew with the cheese being the only chunks.

It is really delicious and well-flavored, but this dish kind of needs either a piece of bread (pita, french bread) or some rice to go with it to sop up the sauce. I eat them by themselves sometimes but the flavor is so highly concentrated that a little bit of starch to balance it out makes it a really perfect quick meal.

Add a can of chick peas/garbonzo beans and you can give this entree 6 stars. Makes it look a bit more appealing, too.

This has the overwhelming acidic taste that is characteristic of canned spinach, that frozen and fresh don't have. If you know what I'm talking about and like that taste, then this is OK, but for us it's inedible.
