A wonderfully imaginative premise that really demonstrates the old adage, "Be Careful What You Ask For, You Might Get It"! Silly, funny, and thought-provoking, the story wisks you away to a land you might dream of, until you really think about it. Great book for ages 5-12.For a slightly younger crowd, I also recommend Ladybug Baby Bug, a children's picture book of family values. Ladybug Baby Bug

I got this book to rememind me of his tasty movie. I was expecting it to be the CGI graphic scenes of the movie, but instead the artwork is similar to what you would see on the MGM cartoon the house of tommorrow. I'm not against it, it really is a great book, especially since it shows my favorite scene of the Jello mansion. That looked like fun in bouncing around, slipping and sliding. Flint is a food genious. Of course if food did fall from the sky, it would be a freak of nature, but it's already been done. (When Moses freed the slaves from Egypt, manna had fallen from the sky to feed the people) I've never had manna, but I'm sure it helped the people get to the promised land. I somehow had a similar dream like this when I was a kid, only there was a specific mysterious cloud floating around, and then after you tell it to stop, you tell it what you want (in this case I requested meat). Then those salisbury steaks began to fall from the cloud with gravy as well. I was hopping onto the steaks to get across the sidewalk and the gravy covered sidewalk. Sounds pretty close, but I betcha Flint can make it a reality. It would be easier for me than to try and cook my next meal, and it would save me a ton of money. Never mind what the people said, Flint make another machine to put an end to hunger across the world.
