Didn't work in Spain,

I've used this for a few years, and have been happy with it till now. I just came back from Spain and had to keep borrowing my friends converter. The plugs in Spain are inset about an inch into the wall and since this unit is so bulky it doesn't fit into the slot. The new ones I see in the stores are much more compact and can fit into the plugs (like my friend's did).
