PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! DO NOT GIVE ANY CREDIT INFORMATION DIRECTLY TO THE COMPANY!!! IT IS A FRAUD!!!
Over the past years, I have spent more money on this company's products than I care to admit. It wasn't until I saw the recent reviews today that I even considered there might be a problem. I just googled their location and it came up as a place called Dura-Bilt Drapery & Upholstery. Another reviewer said it is also the location for Kathy's Family. Sure enough! Tate's Natural Miracle claims to be a family business out of a home in Ohio? A home surrounded by nature and all the ingredients used in making this product? NOT! Something is very, VERY wrong here! In addition, the names are completely fictitious! No records can be found. I also googled the phone number and it came up on 800notes. There are comments on there from PAST EMPLOYEES! They say the "owner" is broke, a crook, and a slimeball. None of the ingredients are even natural!!! There is also an owner name given, but I couldn't find records. Many complaints have been made to the BBB. I will be adding mine to the others soon, however, I feel that something with greater ramification must be done! This is unexceptionable, immoral, and against the law! I'm terrified about what chemicals I have been putting on my body for the past 3 years!!! A lawsuit is hopefully in this guy's future. I can think of many, many charges he will be up against! PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! DO NOT GIVE ANY CREDIT INFORMATION DIRECTLY TO THE COMPANY!!! IT IS A FRAUD!!!

One reviewer mentioned that the company has received an F from the Better Business Bureau. I looked it up and it is absolutely true. Willoughby, Ohio is covered by the Cleveland BBB, look it up yourself. I copied and pasted part of their info:
23 complaints filed against business
Failure to respond to 8 complaints filed against business
6 complaints filed against business that were not resolved
1 serious complaint filed against business
Length of time business has taken to resolve complaint(s)
BBB does not have sufficient background information on this business
Business has failed to resolve underlying cause(s) of a pattern of complaints
From what I understand, some of the complaints involve them sending products unsolicited, and then asking for payment. There are also comments suggesting that requests for more information are ignored.
The thing for me is that I question their product claims now that I know their business practices are questionable. For example, this completely white lotion contains dozens of colorful ingredients including blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, etc. They do not use FDA approved names for the ingredients, which are also supposed to be listed in order of percentage. It doesn't quite make sense. But I don't know. I'm just wondering.

I picked up this conditioner (and the shampoo) at a friend's natural products store about a month ago. It came with a little booklet that listed about a zillion strange uses for this product - everything from a hair product, to an eye cream, to a saddle conditioner, to a fabric softener! But it's too expensive for me to want to waste it on anything but my skin or hair. :)

I have long thick hair and it works beautifully to detangle and soften my hair. You can rinse it out or use as a leave-in conditioner - it's not thick or sticky.

I have also used this on my skin - hands, elbows, face, and lips. When you rub it in your skin, it disappears almost like water, with NO oily residue left on your hands (I hate oily lotions!) and my skin feels very soft and supple. It doesn't burn after shaving. I have applied it to peeling sunburn and it helps to hydrate without any sting.

It has a scent that is hard to describe - it's not strong or perfumey or fruity... it smells "wholesomely plain", and a bit like aloe. (The shampoo on the other hand has a wonderful almond scent.)

I have sensitive skin and this product has not irritated my eyes or face at all!

I do highly recommend this product. I hope my descriptions help. :)

Wanted to love this product and was really hyped to try it. I guess there were a few things that should have served as red flags to not get my hopes up:

1) The ingredients include an extensive list of purely natural stuff, primarily water and various fruits and herbs. I did think that all those ingredients (30?) was overkill. Rather gimmicky in fact. I mean, sure, looked great on paper but was each and every one of those ingredients serving a real purpose? And was there enough of each of those ingredients to make a difference? My guess is not really.

2) The word "miracle" is used in the name of the product. I guess that should've been my biggest clue.

3) I originally bought it as a hair conditioner. It came with a booklet describing about 80 different ways you can use this stuff, from hair to face to laundry to sunburns to nails. First off, they state you can add 10 pumps to your laundry as a fabric softener. Maybe that's true, I haven't tried it. But that is some dang expensive fabric softener! 10 pumps dig a pretty deep hole in this not-inexpensive bottle.

I suspect that it wouldn't hurt to use this conditioner in all the ways they suggest: as a dishwashing softener, diaper rash treatment, hair gel, plant food, arthritis, and the list goes on and on. But I also suspect it wouldn't HELP very much either. I tried the conditioner as a skin moisturizer on my arms and it made no difference whatsoever. I experimented with just putting it my right arm so I could compare to my untreated left arm. My right arm actually became drier! I'm not blaming that on the conditioner, but it clearly didn't help.

So as I mentioned, I bought this with the intent to use as a hair conditioner after shampooing.
