Product Description

This guitar by Tatiri is a welcome step up from the usual childrens guitars that sound more like rubber bands on a cardboard box than actual music. This bright red, wooden guitar is just the right size for kindergarteners, and is strung with 6 strings, which can each be tuned just like a real guitar! The sound of this guitar is light, rather like a cross between a standard guitar and a ukulele, and can be played either by hand or with the included pick. The guitar makes an excellent introduction to the world of music, though it should be noted that it is first and foremost a toy, not a professional instrument.

This is a fairly durable toy, though you'll want to have a screwdriver handy to tighten it up a bit from time to time. Rather than the plastic guitars that make electronic noises when you press the buttons, this one has real strings and it's cheap. You're not going to play Joe Satriani or Jimmy Page-type stuff on it, but it gets the job done. My son loves it and that's all that matters.

Exactly what I wanted as a play guitar for my 4 y/o ! This is the perfect size for a young child (3-5) - though I must admit I was surprised at how small it appeared when I received it. My 4 y/o LOVES it - it's easy to carry and the sound is great (not like the annoying battery operated plastic ones) ! My only complaint is the strings tend to loosen and need to be rethreaded - a pain, but easy enough to do.

This guitar is more of a decoration than a toy. The colors were cute, but it was half the size I thought it would be. Also, the sound was horrible. You could make a better sounding guitar out of a box and some rubber bands.
