The Kid Won't Put it Down
This is a fairly durable toy, though you'll want to have a screwdriver handy to tighten it up a bit from time to time. Rather than the plastic guitars that make electronic noises when you press the buttons, this one has real strings and it's cheap. You're not going to play Joe Satriani or Jimmy Page-type stuff on it, but it gets the job done. My son loves it and that's...

Decoration - NOT a toy!
This guitar is more of a decoration than a toy. The colors were cute, but it was half the size I thought it would be. Also, the sound was horrible. You could make a better sounding guitar out of a box and some rubber bands.

Exactly what I wanted as a play guitar for my 4 y/o ! This is the perfect size for a young child (3-5) - though I must admit I was surprised at how small it appeared when I received it. My 4 y/o LOVES it - it's easy to carry and the sound is great (not like the annoying battery operated plastic ones) ! My only complaint is the strings tend to loosen and need to be rethreaded - a pain, but easy enough to do.
