I bought this book at an art show - having never gotten a tattoo (at age 43) I decided to get page 112 on my right calf -- I've had a lotta fun with this book, it's a great start for people interested in tattoos (or just like graphic art, and want to check out the pictures!)

I love everything about this book! It's called a "paperback" but it's not your run-of-the-mill paperback.

Sure, it has a soft cover, but it has a really solid feel to it. If fact, the tactile sensation of this book is much akin to that of a soft bound Bible. So why not think of this book as a Tattoo Bible? But rather than being cluttered with endless Words, this Good Book offers 265 awesome illustrations!

Recommended to anyone interested in tattoo art, pop art, Kitsch, or just good old fashioned well crafted drawings.

The best part is it's under 15 clams! Such a deal.

This is a really good book loaded with pictures that were sold as tattoo flash for at least ten times the cost!!! This has a lot of neat designs that anyone could appreciate, even if your not a tattooer.

I've just received my copy of Mitch O'Connell's newest book "Mitch O'Connell Tattoos". WOW! I have been a fan of Mr. O'Connell's for years, and am constantly surprised by his originality and creativity. I love the presentation, it's like the authoratative "field guide" to how to get Mitch's art permanantly into your life. A must have for tattoo artists and their devotees, but for fans like myself, just pure fun!

Jammed packed with excellent quality pictures and flash, couldnt have asked for anything better. If you want to see some really great work from a talent like Mitch O'connell then you definately need to pick up a copy of this book. The book is perfect size, not your normal cheesey paperback book, heavy duty cover and paper. Price: Excellent value for the money!!!!!

When I first saw this book- I was immediately excited to buy it!

Most people who have a love and understanding of "Lowbrow" art- will no doubt know about Mitch from a feature in Juxtapoz, or his artwork on some jewellery by Retro-a-go-go or a concert poster...but what does that mean, if you aren't one of the above people and stumble upon this brightly coloured paperback when searching for "tattoo" on Amazon, well- let me tell you, a reference book for tribal/oriental flash/butterfly tattoos this is not!!...the clue is in the title, it's Mitch's original artwork shunk down to tattoo size and collated in a lovely little handbag (man-bag) sized book!

So what can you expect from this absolute peach of book? I'm glad you asked!.. apart from owning an awesome book that you can show to your mates or relatives when they visit, it's a great source or sickeningly cute kitsch reference pics- men in pimp jackets looking confused- drunk animals- sexy spacegirls and pin-up grrrls.

After all...why do tattoos have to be serious all the time?! this book will show you how tattoo design can have a fun injection, and hey!- who wouldn't want that..I heard the injection tastes like Gin and Glitter-bunnies!

Warning: If you are a pretentious D-Bag who takes yourself too seriously -- this book is not for you.

I am not a tattoo artist -- nor am I even remotely interested in bastardizing my skin with ink and needles,
but I feel this is a must have for art collectors and those who appreciate kitsch and pop culture.

Every piece of art that comes from Mitch O'Connell filled with whimsy, satire, and a healthy dose of real talent. Literally Every time I flip thru the pages of this tome, It's so AWESOME that I can feel my eyeballs and face melting like the Nazi's in Raiders of the Lost Ark... that's, like, biblical amounts of awesome.

If you ARE a Tattoo art/';u7jist or a body mod masochist and you've got a good sense of humor, Mitch is your go to guy for clean line work, amazing anatomy, and genuinely witty tattoo designs.

In my opinion, You're not a real man until you've got a cute kitten tattoo.

This book was my introduction to Mr O'Connell. a lovely hand sized book with an amazing array of artwork done in tattoo flash style. after enjoying this book I ended up ordering sheets of tattoo flash from the man himself and have them hanging up at home. and also had the joy of buying some older works and was particularly impressed by "pwease wuv me" which is always a blast to look through. I even lucked out and managed to find a Mitch design on a Easy Action shirt at a Negative Approach show. anyway I'm rambling. but please support this incredible artist. and this book is the perfect way to start. I can t wait to get me a copy of "worlds greatest artist" as soon as I can figure out a way to get a signed copy for my collection. Start your obsession today!

Mitch is the artist I've always wanted to be. When I was growing up I'd draw girls (actually the same girl, same pose but sometimes different color hair), sometimes they'd have a bikini on but when no one was around they'd be naked. But I was stuck with that one pose.
Now I look at Mitch's work and I think 'Damn, why couldn't I draw like that?' Unbelievably beautiful and cool. This book is just bursting with ideas.. Mitch is a genius! I don't have any tattoos, I'll probably never get one, but this is the stuff I dream about. WOW!
