What's not to love?,
This review is from: Tattoos (Paperback)
I love everything about this book! It's called a "paperback" but it's not your run-of-the-mill paperback.
Sure, it has a soft cover, but it has a really solid feel to it. If fact, the tactile sensation of this book is much akin to that of a soft bound Bible. So why not think of this book as a Tattoo Bible? But rather than being cluttered with endless Words, this Good Book offers 265 awesome illustrations! Recommended to anyone interested in tattoo art, pop art, Kitsch, or just good old fashioned well crafted drawings. The best part is it's under 15 clams! Such a deal.

Destined to be a classic,

I bought this book at an art show - having never gotten a tattoo (at age 43) I decided to get page 112 on my right calf -- I've had a lotta fun with this book, it's a great start for people interested in tattoos (or just like graphic art, and want to check out the pictures!)

Great Book, even if you don't tattoo,

This is a really good book loaded with pictures that were sold as tattoo flash for at least ten times the cost!!! This has a lot of neat designs that anyone could appreciate, even if your not a tattooer.

Sheer Pulp Awesomeness,

Great book, more freakideakiness than should be legal in such a small package. Seriously, there should be a three week waiting period to get your hands on this publication.

I am really disappointed with this book. The tattoos all look like cartoons. I opened the book and thought it was a joke. If you are looking for quality pictures of tattoos this book is not for you.

I've just received my copy of Mitch O'Connell's newest book "Mitch O'Connell Tattoos". WOW! I have been a fan of Mr. O'Connell's for years, and am constantly surprised by his originality and creativity. I love the presentation, it's like the authoratative "field guide" to how to get Mitch's art permanantly into your life. A must have for tattoo artists and their devotees, but for fans like myself, just pure fun!

This book doesn't have any pictures of actual work. Each image looks like a professional cartoon but there are many variations of the same work. For instance he might have 4 pictures of the same woman, with the same face, but wearing different clothes. Almost every image has some cute caption to go along with the picture but I didn't think there was more than a handful someone would want on their body.

I waited a loooong time to decide for a tattoo until I found Micht's. His drawing are so wild and precise to the genre that is impossible not to to have them all on you. I as of today have three of his crazy design on my body: the best!

Absolutely love Mitch's work, he's definitely got talent and his images make me smile. Pick up a copy for your coffee table, and let the bookshelf get lonely.
