Make your computer a complete home-entertainment center with Tatung's 17-inch widescreen LCD flat-panel monitor. Its 16:9 aspect ratio is ideal for watching movies on DVD, and PIP (picture-in-picture) lets you watch two programs simultaneously from the onboard NTSC tuner. Inputs consist of high-resolution component-video, EDTV, two composite-video, two S-video, and one HD15 computer terminal. A composite-video output lets you feed a VCR.
The stylish V17AFTW is less than 3 inches deep. Its high brightness (400 cd/m2) means you can put it anywhere--even near windows, doors, or other light sources--and its picture will remain vivid. The monitor's 160-degree viewing angle is so wide you can view it from anywhere in the room, not merely when you're optimally seated before it. The monitor is compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video formats. Two speakers frame the unit on either side for stereo sound. The monitor features VESA (75 mm) standard mounting holes and can be mounted on a stand or on the wall. The included carry handle is the ultimate in convenience.

We purchased this TV last year. The quality is great, it has a sleek look and has a great remote. We had some problems though. After the TV was on for a while, we experienced a loud crackling in the sound, then the sound went off and the TV went to a blue screen. I contacted customer service in CA. They were GREAT. They were very responsive and they shipped me out a new TV under the warranty. I would highly recommend this TV. It has good resolution, a great picture, sleek design and a good price. Their customer service was top notch and very responsive. This is a high-end LCD TV.

I love the picture on mine. Everybody walks into the room and says how much they like it. Very good industrial design!
