Editorial Reviews

(1960) Joe Robinson. Bella Cortex, Harry Baird, Antonio Leonviola. The BEST video copy of this film on the market today.  Critics havent always been kind, but this is truly an underrated sword & sandal opus with touches of fantasy and sci-fi. Robinson finds himself prisoner in the strange underworld kingdom of Surupak, ruled over by an evil queen and her sinister high priest. The climax is terrific with tons of action. Some cool futuristic cave machinery is featured. Great color, from 16mm.

This movie does not rate highly among others of it's genre, however; it was somewhat entertaining.
The seller lived up to his promise of timeliness of delivery and good condition of the item.
Thanks

I only watched this movie because clips from it are used at the beginning of the movie, Cave Dwellers. Cave Dwellers was parodied on Mystery Science Theater 3000. This film really bad on every level. It is Badly dubbed, features atrocious broad acting and awkward, poor executed production elements. It's even racist at turns (much of the humor is at the expense of the hero Taur's black sidekick and is rooted in stereotypes) It might amuse a bad film fan with it's cheesy goodness, but I'd advise anyone watching it to expect the worse. Watch this if you're intrigued and/or really bored(liquor might help).
