We have a wonderful Chocolate Lab, but she has severe allergies. Our vet tried every allergy medicine out there, including Benedryl. None worked, and our dog lost all of her hair and kept a terrible rash. The vet finally recommended we try Tavist. It was a Godsend!! She gets one a day (sometimes two) and hardly ever itches, has a full coat of hair, and no sniffles. The problem is that Tavist is hard to find in our area. We started ordering it from Amazon.com, and get it within days. We swear by it, but talk to your vet first if your going to use it for your pet.

Tavist is getting hard to find in retail stores. That's a shame, because this works really well for me without making me sleepy. Buying in large qty through Amazon is great for the convenience and lower price.

The product is a good product. One of the few that doesn't make
you sleepy while you're trying to clear your sinuses.
