We have a wonderful Chocolate Lab, but she has severe allergies. Our vet tried every allergy medicine out there, including Benedryl. None worked, and our dog lost all of her hair and kept a terrible rash. The vet finally recommended we try Tavist. It was a Godsend!! She gets one a day (sometimes two) and hardly ever itches, has a full coat of hair, and no sniffles. The problem is that Tavist is hard to find in our area. We started ordering it from Amazon.com, and get it within days. We swear by it, but talk to your vet first if your going to use it for your pet.

Tavist is getting hard to find in retail stores. That's a shame, because this works really well for me without making me sleepy. Buying in large qty through Amazon is great for the convenience and lower price.

The product is a good product. One of the few that doesn't make
you sleepy while you're trying to clear your sinuses.

Not allergies to canines for canines with allergies. Our dog has awful skin allergies and this is the only non prescription thing that has worked.

I think Tavist is the best of the otc cold medicines, by far better than Benedryl, Allegra and the others. Unfortunately, WalMart and other chains no longer carry it but Amazon still has it at a great price.

My family has been using Tavist over the counter for more than a dozen years. We've always been satisfied with its effectiveness relative to other antihistamines. Now that claritin and allegra have bought a monopoly position on pharmacy shelves at the supermarket, I appreciate Amazon.com providing a different way to order our routine medication.

This is the ONLY product that temporarily cures our dogs allergies (Cairn Terrier). They quit selling this at the local drug stores, so we're very pleased Amazon still carries this product. The dog used to pull his hair out regularly till we tried this and it cured him.

Product was what I ordered & got here in a timely manner. Could not locate it here locally since all drug stores are now carrying their own brand or discontinuing carrying.
