I love this show however buying this is this format will cost more. At the price of $100.99 you will pay about $12 more than buying them individually. So be wary of this. Enjoy the show I certainly do.

If not, it was the most underated. Not to the critics, it kept winning emmys. It was a series that improved with age, going from a fine sitcom to a brilliantly acted and written examination of some wonderful characters. I bought this for my wife who had never seen the original episodes. There are at least twenty plus gems among these shows and very few are worth skipping. Enjoy!

One of the best all time comedy series. The writting was always superb. The actors on this show where all top notch. This collection does not come in one box. All seasons come in separate boxes. But at least you get the complete series at a good price. Buy it. Not many TV shows where better or funnier than this one. This show is an example of where each actor was excellent in his own right, but, when you put the whole group together, the show became magic.

A total collection of the Taxi program from first episode until last. A reminder of when television shows were written with some depth and wit and when the product was aimed at an audience with education and experience. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Thanks!

this was a father's day gift for my husband - we can hear the laughing coming from the tv room every evening ever since!

This is one of those shows that was canceled long before it deserved to be. Why a series that in only four years was nominated for 31 Emmy Awards and won 18, including three for Outstanding Comedy Series, was canceled is beyond me. Every one of its four seasons included many real gems and there was no evidence apparent to me of any decline in script quality in the last season.

By the way, fans of Taxi should watch the film "Man on the Moon." Jim Carry is brilliant in his portrayal of Andy Kaufman, including his time on Taxi. Danny DeVito produced the film and in it plays the part of Andy's agent. As a result, he could not appear in the Taxi sequences, but all of the rest of the cast of the Taxi do appear in the film with the exception of Tony Danza who did not get along with Kaufman and did not even attend his funeral.

What can I say, I love Taxi. Therefore, a box set gets 5 stars. One note, my father and I both noticed that there were missing episodes? I can't remember off the top of my head which ones, but I'm wondering if we are just crazy or if anyone else had noticed this.

The 70's showed men and women working together in all situations, this show takes you to almost all possibilites of friends and workers in the all time love hate relationships no longer allowed in the workplace. These were simpler times and Taxi has it all.

Judd Hirsch. Danny Devito. Tony Danza. Christopher Lloyd.

I loved it i used to watch this show growing up, its awesome and side splitting funny...

The DVD's are all new and the series is one of the funniest ever on television.
