Taylor wanted to make a scale that was precise, and the patented mechanism is so sensitive to even the least movement ¿ including your heart beat! Because of the sensitive nature of this scale, you must stand still to get a solid measurement, but it is fast so the wait time is minimal. In bright white solid steel base with black mat. I love how easy the large numbers are to read. The accuracy seems to be excellent also. Recieved it in a few days and have been happy ever since! I would recommend both this scale and the seller!
