So bad,

This product is horrible. You must have an eyeglass screwdriver to install or replace batteries, the atomic clock does not work, and the inside unit constantly loses contact with the outdoor unit (they are placed not more than 6 feet from each other). I wish I had saved my receipt, but instead I will just throw it in the trash. Money wasted.

I got it for Christmas 2008. By mid=February 19, 2009 the remote unit first started giving erratic readings, then died. At first I hoped it was a dead battery, but new batteries made no difference. Apparently despite being labeled "Indoor/Outdoor" the remote unit can't handle being left outside.
If you do buy it, make sure you have a very small Phillips screwdriver on hand to remove the remote's battery cover. Two of the screws are in very deep recesses and impossible to access otherwise.

Used this for about two days and noticed the " indoor " temperature read 74.3 degrees and never changed. After contacting TAYLOR three times they said to ship it back for a return / replacement. Needed to include receipt.
Paid to ship it back. Four weeks later and contacting them again I received a new unit with the the wrong shipping Name on package that looked like it had been riding on a truck for weeks. It has been working O.K. for now. Taylor products are lacking the quality they once had ( no more USA made ).
