Taylor thermometer puchased according to previews.
The Taylor meat thermometer works well for meats roasted in the oven. It is durable and accurate.

Awful
Needs to be waterproof. I got it a tiny bit wet in the sink - not even submurged it and it is stuck on "poultry" which is just insane. I had only used it 3-4 times and now I have to buy another one. not worth the money. buy a waterproof one instead.

I REALLY ENJOY USING THIS MEAT THERMOMETER. TAYLOR CERTAINLY DOES LIVE UP TO IT'S REPUTATION FOR ACCURACY. IT IS A PRETTY HEAVY, LARGE UNIT SO RESERVE IT FOR LARGER CUTS OF MEAT AND POULTRY.

Stopped working without warning... sort of thing you find out only when your nice, large, expensive lamb roast is totally overdone. Its principal virtue is its price, but you get what you pay for. It is a matter of some irony Taylor calls this the "connoisseur line." One wonders what they'd produce as the "value line."

This thermometer is great, I use it on my grille and I also use it in the kitchen oven. It dosen't roll away from you when laying on the counter. It's accurate and easy to read.

I wish this thermometer came with a cover for the probe. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It is easy to use and seems to be accurate.
